Can we add the Tapatalk plugin for Android?
BlackBerry / Android / iPhone / Nokia app for vBulletin - Tapatalk - Forum

Tapatalk is a vBulletin mod that allows your users to browse your forum using a native mobile application. Tapatalk supports iPhone, Android, BlackBerry and Nokia. It provides super-fast access to your forum and allows your members to participate more in your forum while on the go.

It is free and aside from offering current members another way to read the forum, I believe it would help to increase traffic to the site as you can browse forums that have the plugin installed directly from the app...

I installed this on the test site and I show that the iphone version is sending pw's in plain text. I prefer that my members passwords are not available for anyone to find.

I know that they are supposed to be fixing this. I have read that there is an update, but my current test version...latest still sending unexrypted PW in plain text format.

Until they fix this it will not be installed.

Makes sense.. thanks anyway

It is a good feature. Just too many security issues at this point in time. I have set the hack to update me for new updates and information, so if and when they fix the security issues I will look at this again.

Any updates? When I sign in to the site on my phone it asks me to use Tapatalk, but it doesn't have gmtruckhq in the app.

No. I've seen members on some of autoguide's car forums that complain about that app not working right. And then if you have ever dealt with the person in charge over there.....:picard: and :biglaugh:. And that's being polite about it.

Plus, I definitely wouldn't install anything from that company on my phone. One thing they do on their forums is redirect links to sites that pay them (Example: try posting any link to Tirerack and watch how they redirect it to their site). So if they do stuff like that, do you want them accessing your phone settings to possibly doing the same?.

Autoguide app probably will **** shit up in your settings. Autoguide is a shady company, with shady people working for it. They also run scams and shit and let scammer companies run adds on their forums and let them scam their members.

I've had no issues with autogide. But now also have tapatalk
