I've seen what appears to an Equinox SS a few times. It's Blue, with silver squares in the SS bumper. Makes the hideous Equinox look a little better.... I did a little research on it and found that it's actually called the 1SP Sport package from Chevy.

not important

originally they were supposed to badge it as an SS model, but ended up giving it a "sport package" instead.

i'm honestly glad they went the route they did

They'd need more than just that 3.6 to make it an SS.... Maybe supercharged or something like that

i hated them when they 1st came out cause of gm's issues w/ the contaminatd coolant everyother one would come in after about a 1k on the odo smelling like road kill and you would have to spend hours flushing the coolant system and cleaning the surgetank and then u got to go home smelling like that stuff. glad they got that fixed. the sports arent too bad but al the others are hideous. i wouldnt buy it, but if it was given id rock it!

lol dude ive been around GMs all my life im no expert but i do know enough im saying the equinox is basically a suzuki and yes i know most cars now are made with foreign parts...unfortunately but i have a buddy whos been a GM mechanic for over 30 years and my dad sells them and they will both tell you that equinox's have alot of problems, i would never buy any of those cars anyways because they just look like their foreign made...i like the look of the equinox sport but id never own one
