Should I install a larger battery or run dual batterys?

need help deciding if I should run a larger altenator or run dual batteries?
any help is appreciated.

I like the Idea of dual batteries. My stepdad runs them in his '85 plow truck. I plan on dual battery setup in my '94 and my '83 someday.

I also run the ACDelco 7yr pro series batteries in the biggest size that fits my battery tray.

Both would be a nice improvement too.

Truck is a daily driver and hauls a 30 fifth wheel trailer in the summer

I would go with another battery and also upgrade the power wire coming from the alternator. Atleast 4ga. Since your truck has the diesel option avail, there should be a place for it to fit perfectly. I know my 2500hd does.
