Your bracing on top of the rear I would move them in closer and cut them at opposite angles. There is alot of gap right now for you to fill in. Looking good so far.

I got the replacement that was supposed to fix the flaw.

Also someone told me its from over torquing them and cracking the plastic.

Well i figured the best thing to do is get the cab mounted so i can make sure my rear wheels will be center in the bed. SO i got a friend to come over and sit the cab back on the frame yesterday. I dont know how im gonna do this since the truck does not fit under the roof i had before. Its out in the yard, so only thing i can think of is to put it up on jack stands, so i can see whats going on.

if you guys got any ideas let me know, as of today im gonna go work on it till i loose motivation and come back to check on this and watch a lowlife video.

I have no idea how im gonna do this by myself.

anyway, heres a picture. its just sitting on there, it isnt mounted or cut in anyway. Man this is gonna be a pain to get strait.

From the top i have cut out the trans tunnel, but i need to get to the underside to finish cutting it. I cant lift the cab by myself. anyone got any ideas on how to get it off the frame by myself?

All i know to do is wait for my friend john to get off work. (the guy who has that full size frame i helped build) He gets off at 6, right when it gets dark. I just called him and he said he can try to come by after work, and to call him back at 6.

Date: 2-16-2009, 08:20 PM

Well I got a little work done today, and my friend came over after work. So i got the cab back off and sectioned the front body mounts.

I was scared to cut it up, so I poped in a Low Life video. That fixed that problem...

Pictures Talk.

Worked all day any almost got the front mounts done. I still need to trim one more place, i think, for that 350 and tranny to not hit the cab. and they should bolt up. The rear mounts should be easy.

I should have the front bolted up good and tight with everything clearing well. I also have to prime this guys truck for him in the morning first thing.

Here is how much i had to cut the body mounts on the front down...

Date:02-19-2009, 01:31 PM

Took some time off my truck to help a friend. I primed this for him...

Now back to my truck...

Date: 02-19-2009, 09:55 PM

I do not feel like i got anything done today. Taking the cab on and off, cutting and trimming. I still have not got it to sit on the front body mounts. I was doing some thinking, in the front to lay before i rolled the rockers was 3 1/2". SO that would make this at least a 3 3/4" to a 4" body drop right? The tranny looks like its gonna get into the gas pedal mounting bolts. I may have to relocate it up an inch or 2.

Im worn out and got nothing to show. IM TIRED!

Here is pictures of the top to link bars tacked in place. I measured every way i could and it comes up with only 1/16" difference.

My bottom bars, when i do bag on bar, the top bag mount is gonna be a tight fit at full lift between the top bars and the tire. I was thinking maybe put the bags on the top bars? Thoughts?

4 Link is Done! About time... The lowers are measured to 1/6" as well... Those front mounts was funky to get to sit in the same place. I could of just slapped em on there, but I want it to be as good as I can get it. It is back breaking tho.

PICS!

Well that escalated quickly. I did not think I was gonna have to do anything crazy until I was behind the cab.
