Ok so I like my Zune, however my HD is so fvcked that it crashes lots.

I'm very anti I-crap due to bad experience with the i-crap software.

Been looking @ maybe a samsung, archos, or some other ones. Bad thing is the capacity. I need either expandable storage or large HD or flash memory. seen a few out there that are 8gigs and 16gigs with expandable with an additional 32gig mem card.

So for those out there without i-crap or would buy something besides i-crap what would be your idea to go with?

Oh and I forgo the zune software is randomly deleting music from my drive so I'm getting abit annoyed with that.

Never got an ipod, because a mp3 player is just an mp3 to me, not a way of life.

Got a cheap Sansa play, was about $30, works perfect, uses micro SD cards too.

Not sure what the problems with iPods are. I've been using a 30GB 5th Gen iPod Classic since around 2006. Works great and you don't have to use iTunes if you don't want. There are ways around that.

That would be ok if I didn't have well over 30gigs of music and another 15gigs of vids right now. and I have probably another 30 of music to load and about 200gigs of vids.

If you get an iPod you can plug it into your PC and use windows programs to program and put music on it. You don't have to run itunes.

I prefer not to financially support a company that fvcked up my PC once. I made the wife sell her Ipod after that.

Yeah I might just put a 120gig HD in my zune to replace the fried 80gig one. Would have liked to go SD or CF but CF is like $900 for a 128gig one.

About the only thing left is cheap or ipod. If you have a smart phone that's the next thing to use. Most new aftermarket units are coming with USB port so you can use a memory stick, I think you can get a 64gig on for a out 6bucks these days
