Found this blazer for sale a couple hours north of me and since i have a bit of a fetish for white vehicles i couldn't pass it up.
98 Blazer 4x4 290,000mi that ill be letting my brother-in-law borrow as is until this fall.

This fall:
2" BL
new torsion key lift, an add-a-leaf maybe some shackles.
Going to try and replace all the bushings up front, pitman arms links ect (steering is pretty sloppy)
My s10 will graciously donate the power plant. 4.3L ive i owned new since 03 and currently has 60K mi.
needs a new fender because of rust, may get a new rocker too but that depends on my buying a new welder and learning how to do body work...
needs more cleaning than i care to admit, pretty scummy inside, probably should do a new carpet kit, if i do the body work ill have it "uh oh better get macco" sand-and-shoot painted white.

That being said i think with new steering and suspension components, a new-ish motor and a lot of cleaning i think i can turn a profit on it.

Then i sell it and use the profit to stuff a 5.3 (with turbos?) in my s10

Admin Team

You can easily clear 31s on a second gen with factory keys, my suggestion is to coumt the leaves on the current springs amd give husky springs a call amd get the 4leaf new springs. It will be a stiffer ride amd will increase ride height.
