Thanks! I actually have a black grille, but was trying out the look of the chrome with the new tires when I took those pics.

Chiming in.....just picked her up a couple weeks ago. 34k miles.

These 2 are when I first got it. Dirty!

And this is after I cleaned it and put on the LED brake strip.

I love the looks of the lifted Silverado. I wish mine was 4x4, but alas, couldn't afford it.

I figured I was only gonna buy ONE new truck, and I was tired of "making due" with 4-6 banger bare bones work trucks, so I ponied up for a truck that I knew I would be happy with and STAY happy with after the "honeymoon" was over.

That rolling pic is cool with that college or church in the background.

Just brought this 09 home a few days ago. So far I love it. I've been driving s10's and civics since I was 16 so it's a big change soooo much more comfortable.

There's more about it here..

since that picture I've taken off the vent shades, step bars, bed cover, gm badges, flex fuel and SLE badges. Just ordered a Dynomax bullet and should be doing tint next weekend. Gonna do 20% on the front two to match the factory rear tint and 35% on the windshield.

At some point I'm gonna switch the chrome grill for the standard one that has the black bars and only chrome on the outside ring of the grill. Also gonna paint the red in the gmc logos black.

yeah I just don't like the way they look. If/when I lift it I may get nfabs or amp research steps.

Oh yeah it's also got a new hood, new wiper cowl, windshiled wipers, passenger side mirror and a couple hundred freshly pulled dents.

a lot of the dmax guys run the amp research steps, they are expensive but are evidently worth the coin

Yeah they are stupid expensive. That's why I lean more toward the nfabs if I ever put them on. But even with a small 4-5" lift the misses is probably gonna need a step to get in.
