Looks like the amber will be staying for now. I kinda like it.

Also have obtained a set of the SSD Upper FUKA's, a non A/C blower box, a billet overflow as well. Either going get some no-notches or notch for the tie-rods myself.

I also will be removing the SMC water trap thats there now, and adding in a 2 Speed-Air's and 2 check valves.

DIGG

In the process of having the seats recovered (****ing finally!) Driver's side torx STUCK

I bought a bolt extractor from Sears. Basically a reverse drill bit a sleeve that is threaded. Drilled down pretty damn far into it, tried the bit as described, ripped the chuck OFF the drill. FAWK. soooo..I took an allen head socket, 1/2 inch drive that was just snug enough to start to slide in, and proceeded to beat the ever loving shit out of it to get it in there. Once i was comfortable that it would not come out (lol forever) i put the breaker bar on it, applied pressure and SNAP, head of the bolt came off. pulled seat out. gotta drill the rest of the bolt out, but I got the seat out now which was what is important.

Ran down to my buddy Jason's today, went and got material, dropped my seats off and got his seats outta the shed with him. Doing black vinyl (looks like pleather to me) along with black suede inserts, orange stitching.

It was FAWKING COLD this morning btw.....

Material chillin on jasons truck

tilt lever....PULL lol. pliers with a rag doubled and tug. Came right out.
Got the plastics off, went ahead and pulled the shifter out, polished it up and sealed it. Pulled the ashtray out to, going to smooth and paint. E-Brake and tilt lever going to steveO for chome.
Thinking I want to make a new plate or see if I can use the existing and get autoloc's billet rocker switches for the air.

Need a new one.

redoing switches. replacing the momentary on/off with these.

and replacing the compressor power on/off with this lighted piece from autoloc as well. The orange is the lighted part. Figure i might as well match it right? it will only light up with the power is on.

Nope it's an actual tank, i had another bottle that I'd filled...once and sprayed the truck, twice total. I'd had a momentary burst of wanting to "go fast" which is actually, semi to not really quick. And then realized it's just a 4.tree. So for shits and giggles we painted up a spare bottle, flamed it, had it striped. It eventually because the inspieration to have the outside flamed and striped, so it's just stayed lol.

Well I guess rather than me attempt to make something to work, I find these for $58 ready to go

this is the radiator support. Anyone know of anywhere else that produces such a product? I'd be painting it pewter.

Spent about 2 hours fiddling around last night.
Pulled the switch panel out, enlarged the holes (raunch) and put 4 of the 8 switch buttons in. The single one left open at the moment will be for the compressor power and will be the autoloc lighted piece (orange LED when power on, no LED when off) that I posted earlier. Im keeping the functionality of having each corner independently adjustable. But here's the start. I already love it more than the momentary switches I had before. Debating on wetsanding out all the scratches and polishing by hand, powdercoating it in almost chrome or painting it pewter...

sanded and primed the column pieces (first go around, much more sanding in my future)

thank ya. I need to put the other 4 in (have to get them lined up and straight or I'll be pissed) if it's to cluttered or doesnt look right, I'll have to remake the piece. I have one more to buy which is the autoloc one that has the lighted ring in it (will be orange) and I'll be set switch wise.

Not a huge item, but it completes one aspect of the redo, but I ordered the 16mm (smallest available) latching w/orange LED ring button for the compressor power from Autoloc. Once I get that in, i can finish up the plate.
Aiming to have all plastics smooth and in primer by the end of the weekend.
