Never had any issues with hei, used many types of plugs wires. Currently i have the msd hei kit on my 79 Monte, bwd plugs and delco plugs. Testing module and pickup are well documented in a good manual.

For gm I have used both delco and ngk. Do not use bosch and autolight plugs, i have personally had issues with those.
