02 sierra c1500 that will not crank-turn key to start and nothing happens. Checked battery, starter, relay and all fuses and confirmed all good. No power to solenoid wire when key turned to crank position. Upon doing web search noticed this was/is a rather not too uncommon problem with quite a number of gm vehicles-but no solutions posted/found. Any ideas what to check next?

Check the Ignition switch wires and check for power at crank going out.
