Well added another suv to the fleet.

2002 Trailblazer LT. White
122k on the clock.

I'll get some pics up soon.

Needs all fluids changed, turns out what I thought was a wheelbearing is diff noise. So will change fluid and keep an eye on it, hoping will get a year out of it before I tear into it.

Well both front and rear diff's services with new lube, hopefully it will hold them off till next year.

Was going to do the xfer case but turns out some num nuts had stripped out the fill plug, ordered both fill and drain today so I can do that later this week.

Went and checked the oil and barely any oil touching the dipstick, made a call here when the dealer did the change they only added 5qts. Took it in they topped it off.

Plan on doing trans service this weekend. Anyone know which line out @ the radiator is the side thats pressure? I'd like to pump it out to flush. I've got a filter and 2 cases of fluid.(been told to pump it out till it bubbles out a little, drop the pan replace filter and gasket, fill back up, run it for a week and repeat the self pump out and refil.)

After all this next is Tires and Shocks. The bump that Sam pointed out I have noticed. Does anyone know if bilstein is original on the truck?

Thank you Sam.

Is the bump normal or is it more pronounced when they shocks are weak? I've noticed that it rocks quite a bit.

I'm also trying to convince the wife that a small 2" lift would be inexpensive and be an improvement.

I hope to get some better pics in the next couple weeks. I am actually really amazed with how little rust is under the thing compared to newer ones from MN.

The bump is normal. Mine has done it since around 15k. My shocks are done for, but I'm going to do some work on the whole suspension setup next year so I'm like "F it" for now. As far as the lift goes, you can only run 30.5" tall tires max unless you get spacers. Look in your front fender and thank GM for that.

Not worried about much taller tires then @ most a 31". Just for added snow drift and snow bank clearance was all. BDS has a kit for $450 so I thought that was inexpensive considering the one for my '94 is over 2k.

I was thinking going with Monroe for replacement and getting the rear shocks with the springs. They have always seemed to be the best on the rears of my vehicles.

As much wheel gap as these already have, it would look stupid. Just saying. And like I said 30.5" MAX, not 31". Monroe is ok. I am going to go with Tahoe springs in the rear, but that's me.

I know the rear gap is huge unless you're actually pulling something behind it. And 31" don't mean actual 31's in size. The 31's one my '94 are only 30.5" tall actually. Whats with the Tahoe springs in the rear? Could you elaborate for me please?

Well I didn't get the trans done when I wanted too but got it done here last weekend.

Not too bad I'd say. I'll do another drain and fill here in a month or so then about april mayish I will do a new filter again just to try and prolong this as long as possible.

New pan looks great on it. When this trans kicks it it will get the upgrade pan from TCI.

And to point out with the TCI pan you use the short filter not the deep. It's got stand offs in the bottom to hold the filter.

Well besides the trans service, I've done shocks and struts with monroe's all the way around. Sensatrac's quick struts in the front and the overloads in the rear.

Dam wind noise sucks on this thing. I've gotta do door hinges now too since whatever the recall covered is not holding up.

Her 4x4 quit working. All the TCCM's in the area are snagged up fast and the few I had found wanted $150 for them used. $250 at the dealer for a new one with my wholesale, and $250+ to program the dam thing.
